Knowing if your students understand concepts we explain or talk about in class is not always easy. This is a way that can help. At the end of the class they can write a Tweet of the class and 2 hashtags that summarize the most important concepts.
They also have to write their name as if they had their own account. That is something they enjoy creating.
If they were not to know what Twitter is you should explain to the class briefly.
This activity helps them stop and think about their learning. Great way of formative assessment as well.
